Taylor + Bennett ooze luxury. I was drawn to their crisp and modern packaging, alongside the fact they are a Yorkshire brand! It was set up by James Taylor and Dan Bennett. Below features the Taylor + Bennett Christmas collection, presenting delectable truffles in three delicious flavours.
Inside the Christmas collection contains mulled wine truffles, spiced orange caramel truffles and milk chocolate and hazelnut truffles.
The MULLED WINE (bottom right) truffle: From first glance, before even tasting the truffle it impresses. It exhibits a purple shine like glaze- almost too good to eat. The filling tastes fresh- not artificial, with a juicy fruit texture. The outer part of the chocolate is inviting, smooth and mouth-watering.
The MILK CHOCOLATE AND HAZELNUT (top right & bottom left) truffle: This truffle contains a velvet inner section, with plenty of texture from the nutty shell. It's a deep and nutty flavour, plus not too overpowering.
The ORANGE CARAMEL (top left) truffle: The texture of this truffle exuberates a sweeter, thicker toffee esque filling. There's an abundance of rich caramel flavour, with subtle orange notes.
North Star Coffee. This bar tastes magnificent, with a bitter hit of coffee. It's not too strong a flavour and is one for the coffee lovers as it has a rich depth of flavour in both the chocolate and coffee.
